LOVE MAKES WORLD GO ROUND
or YOU BIG KID -YOU
On Saturday morning, I joined happy children and organizer, John Aaron at the Martin Luther King Memorial Library to chalk the granite sidewalks in front of the library with messages of peace. Chalking with the young ones gave me a sense of joy and happiness. We all were full of imagination and color. A gentleman with a keen observation came up to me while I was watching the children chalk their designs. He said, "Look at these faces, I see no one here with boredom, children or adults. And there isn't a piece of technology anywhere to be seen. The kids are fully engaged. Look at their faces!"
Imagination and meaning...two vital life ingredients, had it's day here in Washington, DC and worldwide on Saturday at Chalk4Peace.
