Washington D.C. embraces legal graffiti

The DC government spent nearly $800,000 removing graffiti in 2007, but this year there's $100,000 in the city budget to HELP graffiti artists produce murals - legally.

    I am an art student who loves graffiti art. I love that you guys are taking a step to moving graffiti off the "streets" and creating an avenue for the children, whom are our future, to portray the art of graffiti legally.
