The Rosslyn BID in collaboration with the JBG Companies, Arlington Cultural Affairs and the Art Institute of Washington presents a five day outdoor projection as part of FotoWeek DC. Arlington Cultural Affairs has curated the photographs and video that will be projected on the wall of the JBG Companies Central Place construction and visible from the 1200 blook of Wilson Boulevard.
The selection of images being projected includes the work of local, regional and nationally known artists.

Arlington County's Geoffrey Aldridge selected video artists Sean Capone, Kate Gilmore and William Lamson (all from New York), and Scott Wolniak (Chicago). The project will also feature a selection of the last three year's winners of the Ellipse Arts Center's annual photography show, and photos by two Yorktown High School award-winning students. In addition, a new curatorial project by Welmoed Laanstra will feature newly commissioned works by photographers Mary Noble Ours and Jason Horowitz.
The Rosslyn based Art Insitute of Washington is offering Yum!! Contemporary DC Photographers Explore the Beauty of Food, where professional and student photographers have captured the work of DC's finest chefs. Their gallery at 1820 N. Fort Myer Drive: More information.
Free vouchers will be available at the projection site to ride the Georgetown "Blue Bus" between the Rosslyn Metro and Georgetown M Street stops.
FotoWeek DC is also featuring exhibitions and projections in Crystal City from November 7 - 14. 150 photographs will include the Newseum's Fotobama exhibition, the winners of the 2009 FotoWeek DC competition and projections on the facade of Lowe's Enterprises at 23rd St. and Crystal Drive.
