Gateway Arts District launches new website, artist locator

The Bethesda Urban Partnership and Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District have partnered to open Gallery B, a non-profit art gallery located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda.

This gallery is available to artists and arts organizations for one-month rentals. All media including, but not limited to, painting, photography and sculpture is eligible to use the space. Gallery B does not take a commission on any artwork sold during the exhibition.

Blackrock Call to Artists is open to all artists residing in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC over the age of 18 for original artwork only.
Deadline for receipt of entry form postmarked or delivered: October 28, 2011

Exhibit Year: Oct. 2012 – Aug. 2013

BlackRock Center for the Arts is a cultural cornerstone of Germantown whose mission is to engage the communities of Upper Montgomery County to explore, experience, and celebrate the arts.

Hillyer Art Space is currently looking for artists to exhibit their works for 2012-2013. Artists must be DC Metro area residents or international artists, and cannot have had a solo show in the past 3 years.  Submissions must be received by October 28, 2011.
