DC’s magnificent public murals are on display from Aug. 24-Oct. 4 in the Great Hall at the MLK Memorial Library, 9th & G Sts., NW. Join DC Murals at the Library on September 17, 6-8 pm, for a wide-ranging panel discussion on mural conservation and restoration. Panelists include muralist Byron Peck; DC developer Jim Abdo,; Washingtoniana archivist Mark Greek; and Lionell Thomas, former director of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
