Come early for the 8 PM showing of 7 x 1 Samurai, a one-man retelling of Kurosawa's 7 Samurai, named Best Solo Performance for the 2008 Washington Fringe Festival and hailed by the City Paper as "serious, sidesplitting, mesmerizing stuff."
Space in the theater is limited so call the Warehouse at 202 783-3933 to reserve a seat.
Can't make the show? Join us afterwards to groove to the scorching rhythms and soulful melodies of OmegaBand, kicking off at 9PM.

U STREET BUSINESSES HOST EVENT TO BENEFIT MIRIAM'S KITCHEN'S PROGRAMS
Shop (or even just hang out!) for a good cause!
On March 20th from 6:00-9:00PM, U Street businesses Caramel, Habitat, Moojoo Ken, Nana, Nevin Kelly Gallery, RCKNDY and Wild Women Wear Red are coming together to raise money and awareness for Miriam's Kitchen.
The deal is this:
If you shop at any of the above stores, 10% of whatever you spend at
most stores goes to support Miriam's Kitchen programs and you get to
enjoy great stuff and some sweet sales.
If you just want to come and hang out, make sure you stop by every
store, get a sticker from a volunteer, and then enter a raffle for
some tasty Miriam's treats. There will also be cookies at each store!
If you want to help but can't shop, each of the stores is accepting
donations for Miriam's ranging from men's jeans to socks to
toiletries. (Keep reading)
If you can't come but still want to help, forward this along to anyone
you know who loves U Street, who loves to shop, who loves to help make a difference, who loves a random Thursday night outing, or who loves fabulous company.
