To honor Bill Hill and artists he helped over twenty-five years
Bill Hill has been in the art transportation business with his company HMB Art Transfer since 1985. As an artist himself, "It's a Beautiful Thing" is an exhibition of his work as well as the wide variety of artists who have worked for him over the 24 years he's been in business.
Among the artists Hill selected to be included are: Kristen Bourtles, Kathryn Cornelius, Mathew Duffy, James Eichelberger, Liz Ensz, Thom Flynn, Annie Gugliotta, Ryan Hackett, Steve Lewis, Brenda Moore, Ben O'Brian, Kevin Omeara, Aika Romulo, José Ruiz, Molly Seigel, Aline Shkurovich, Stoff Smulson, Dan Treado, and Albert Weaver.
The show will run from January 27 - March 15

Two DC galleries to close
I had heard that two other galleries were closing in DC besides Zenith Gallery. Lenny Campello confirms that Kathleen Ewing and Jane Haslem, both long time prominent gallerists in DC, will close their physical spaces. Read the article at Daily Campello Art News HERE.
