Josephine Haden has been selected as a recipient of the 2008-09 Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Fellowship Award. The fellowship honors professional artists with monetary awards to support their work. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts has sponsored these fellowships for 68 years. The juror making the selection was Jeffrey Grove, Wieland Family Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art, High Museum of Art, Atlanta, Georgia.
