Civilian Art Projects and Apartment Zero join forces to present a site-specific exhibition featuring limited edition works, one-offs, and prototypes from designer Jonah Takagi, a new American designer who creates objects that inspire, inform and re-contextualize our surroundings. Exhibiting drawing, objects, and a site-specific table, Takagi will transform Civilian's gallery space into a design workspace and showcase.
Transforming traditional notions of functional objects into elegant, concise ideas, Takagi has been awarded the 2010 Bernhardt American Design Honor as the Emerging Designer of the Year.
