AMEN: A Prayer for the World at the National Cathedral in Washington DC

31 August - October 6th, 2014

48 artists (30 from Egypt and 18 Western artists) were given a life sized fiberglass figure in prayer to do with as they saw fit. DMV artist Lilianne Milgrom created an interactive installation whereby the public can participate by scanning the code directly off her angel, or going to www.virtualangel.weebly.com to send an anonymous silent or written prayer out into the world. I encourage readers to participate in the interactive installation! It only takes 12 seconds of your time.

The show is quite spectacular and  is open to the public all September through October 6 at the National Cathedral.  Lilianne Milgrom and another local artist, Lynn Goldstien, will be on hand September 20th between 1-3 PM.
