Montgomery College’s new Department of Visual and Performing Arts presents Peter Quinn’s Gravity Drawings: The Mark, Action, and Motion in the Open Gallery. The exhibit will open September 22nd, with a reception on September 25th from 6–8 p.m.
Gravity Drawings kicks off the Open Gallery’s new themed season, Mark, Trace, Impact. Peter Quinn’s charcoal drawings are a collaboration between the artist and gravity. Rolling a burnt sphere of wood on a sheet of paper, Peter creates dynamic, unexpected, and evocative forms.

Mei Mei Chang & Mariah Anne Johnson Exhibit at the King Street Gallery
DC‐based artists Mei Mei Chang and Mariah Anne Johnson, both artists‐in‐residence at Montgomery College, present new installation‐based works at the King Street Gallery. These colorful works will transform the gallery and encourage viewers to engage with space in new ways.
