All are welcome to attend the opening reception and to visit the exhibition at any time during its run. There is no admission fee.
Van Nguyen is a well known local artist who emigrated from South Vietnam in 1992 and much of her artistic inspiration stems from her cultural heritage. Nguyen has exhibited widely in the region for the past decade and in 2006, mounted a solo show at Gallery Vietnam in New York City, entitled Peace-Possibility. Several of these pieces will be highlighted in the Marymount show.
The Barry Gallery is located in the Reinsch Library on Marymount’s Main Campus – 2807 North Glebe Road, Arlington, VA.
Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday, 10 - a.m. to 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
