Happy Birthday Elvis!!

A true Capricorn title!  - Elvis the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King". (January 8, 1935 - August 16, 1977).

 Elvis at 21, Photographs by Alfred Wertheimer is on view at the National Portrait Gallery thru Jan. 23! If you love Elvis and Rock and Roll, go see it! The exhibit was developed collaboratively by the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, and Govinda Gallery, and is sponsored nationally by The History Channel.
 Check out Govinda Gallery's New Year's blog post. Photographer Vivienne Foster set up a portrait studio at Govinda Gallery’s party for Alfred Wertheimer and his Elvis at 21 exhibition in Washington D.C. Yours truly has a mug shot in the lineup.
