Hosted by Fred Joiner, curator and host of the American Poetry Museum's Intersections at the Honfleur Gallery and poet-in-residence at Busboys and Poets, Shirlington.
The 5th L is a Baltimore-based, nationally traveled, spoken-word, poetry-meets-hip-hopsoul group made up of David Ross/Native Son and Femi Lawal/The Dri Fish. They deliver an action-packed experience with the skilled theatrics of a Broadway show and the high energy of rap,yet with the poetic integrity of Langston Hughes to entertain and enlighten audiences.
HOME is on every THIRD Friday of the month at Hillyer Art Space.
