The DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative ensures that underserved DC public school students benefit from the region’s rich array of arts amenities. Every dollar donated at the ART BUZZ Trunk Show ensures access to the arts for thousands of students each year. In addition the Collaborative provides teachers with professional development sessions and study materials, adding further incentive to integrate the arts into their daily lessons. In the 2009 school year, more than 32,000 students and teachers visited cultural institutions through their programs.

Guests $10 donation gives them access to hundreds of jewelry creations they can purchase that night and the chance to take home one of the many signature pieces as a door prize.
