39th Street Gallery and the Gateway arts center presents an exhibition that explores the peculiar ways in which sense of space and sense of place are linked together.
Each artist works in a traditional medium but uses that medium atypically in order to present a particular concept of spatiality and of place. While they are linked to one another by their desire to show something deeper and more complex than the straightforward visual appearance of their subjects, all have a distinct and nuanced vision that enriches and complements the others.
