Dedication Ceremony for the New York Avenue Sculpture Project

Niki has arrived in Washington, DC! On April 28th the National Museum of Women in the Arts celebrated the opening of its first public art project with a Dedication Ceremony during the day and Grand Reception in the evening. Now that spring is here, it is the perfect time to plan a visit to DC to see Niki de Saint Phalle's sculptures in person. You can also visit the project virtually by viewing the NMWA blog Broad Strokes where you can read more about the sculptures and how they were installed.
