Here's a story about the two paintings that I am exhibiting. I won't mention the titles even though you won't know what they look like. Everyone's work is labeled on the back and that's the fun...to collect work you like and maybe, just maybe, you can pick out your favorite artist's work and/or collect a new to you artist. Lot's of great artists to choose from. Back to my story.... These two little, then unnamed paintings, traveled in April to France by train, plane and automobile. These American made paintings hit the road for eight days encased in their own padded black box. They toured several cities and acquired a four day patina of Parisian air and a varnish of Parisian raindrops before being put back in their padded black box for the trip home to the good ole US of A. I'd like to say they visited the Duchamp exhibition at the Musee Maillol but they didn't. The truth be told, they were created as small studies for surface treatment and process, left to air out, rain and shine before traveling back home again. They are happily dispersed among the other entries at the Corcoran's Art Anonymous show sporting their new air and titles on back. For friends and collectors, here's an opportunity to acquire a "traveling work of art" which was made in the USA and aired in France. See you at the opening. Oh and if you miss mine, there will be plenty of good work to be brought home.

P.S. The letters "Pari" are in the titles.
