November 3, 3011 at 7 p.m., the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art + Design presents 30 Americans artists with local roots Shinique Smith and iona rozeal brown in 30 Americans: A Conversation on Art and Community with Shinique Smith and iona rozeal brown. Presented in partnership with Washington Project for the Arts, the artists will discuss their fascinating work and reflect on the role that artistic community plays in their artwork and process.
Independent art dealer and consultant Schwanda Rountree moderates the panel. A viewing of 30 Americans will follow the program.
