#DCRESIDENCE @DCWEEK is two pop-up spaces, THE HOME and THE PARLOUR, on the NE H Street Corridor. At #DCRESIDENCE art, fashion and new media fuel a new conversation – what is the future of  DC’s creative community?

#DCRESIDENCE will host Open House Party at THE HOME on November 5 at 6pm featuring performance art, trunk shows, live mural painting and more. THE HOME, November 5-6, is a four-storefront showcase at 1629 L St NW. Alongside fashion installations and pop-up shops, THE HOME will present The Fridge’s Leftovers. Alex Goldstein will present a visual timeline of all the exhibits and performances that have been poppin’ off the walls since September 2009.

Entrepreneurs at THE HOME spark conversation at the creative laboratory THE PARLOUR at 421 H St NE from November 7-10 with an Opening Reception on November 7 at 7pm. THE PARLOUR will have art-inspired workshops and panels for all age ranges, including journalism classes, discussions on the future of music and fashion in DC and more.

Collaborators at THE HOME include The Fridge, Birds of a Pleather (formerly Worn Magazine collaborators), VESTIBULE, and more.

Collaborators at THE PARLOUR include Corcoran College of Art & Design students, Listen Local First, 826DC, H St Parlour, and more.
