Jones: Black President and Other Paintings Exhibit on View: June 11 - July 3, 2014 Artist Talk: Saturday, June 14 | 5:00 pm  Opening Reception: Saturday, June 14 | 5:30 - 7:30 pm  Wayson R. Jones' solo exhibition of recent paintings includes his Black President Series with works entitled "Covert Surveillance" and "Throw Your Hands Up." Using a limited palette of black, white and gray mixed from powdered graphite, charcoal and acrylic medium, and a process-driven approach, the artist explores dripping, pouring, glazing and scraping in order to build abstract paintings that also visualize associations between image, memory and emotion.

Terrace Gallery Dorothy Fall: Forest Spirits Exhibit on View: June 11 - July 3, 2014 Opening Reception: Sat., June 14 | 5:30 - 7:30 pm Dorothy Fall's solo exhibition, Forest Spirits, features new works including large drawings, monotypes and multi-panel paintings with cast paper reliefs exploring woodland scenes of gnarled limbs, rugged tree trunks and jumbled roots spreading their tendrils on the forest floor.
