Join the Capital Area Food Bank and Jodi Walsh from the House of Artistry to help feed those suffering from hunger in our community. For a minimum donation of $25, come out and savor delicious soups and breads prepared by area chefs and leave with a handmade ceramic bowl created by local artists.

Empty Bowls Project - Call for Artists
Empty Bowls Project for the Capitol Area Food Bank (CAFB) in DC.
Jodi needs artists to donate bowls that will be purchased and the proceeds will go the CAFB. The event will be held October 15th in DC. All the details are on her web site. The bowls can be any size and any medium.
Jodi is also curating a section called "Collectors Circle" for the event. Artists will receive a 50% commission on artwork that is sold with the remaining 50% going to the food bank. If you would like to be considered please send Jodi images of your work. The work will be displayed on 2 very large white circular tables.
