NEWS: Civilian @ Scope, Miami!

Civilian is thrilled to announce its participation in the Scope Art Fair in Miami, Florida December 5-9, 2007. Founded in 2002, Scope has built a reputation as the art fair that launches important young galleries and artists, making it the resource for established and burgeoning collectors, museum and corporate curators, and the general public. To date,
Scope has produced seventeen art fairs in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, London, and the Hamptons.

At the fair, Civilian will present photography, painting, drawing, video, and site specific installation by regional and national artists including Jen Stark whose work will be featured in our Nov. 2nd group exhibition.

Founded in 2006, Civilian Art Projects is Washington, DC's newest gallery gnawing at the edges of contemporary aesthetic discourse. Through a challenging exhibition series supporting promising, up-and-coming artists working in a broad range of media, and through exciting events of cultural and social significance held throughout the season, Civilian will generate new energy, ideas and momentum thereby contributing to culture and community.
