special reception to meet the
Women for Women International Country Directors

The Museum Shop presents decorative and functional art and jewelry from around the world. Purchases help provide economic independence and sustainable incomes for women and their families. Please join us in welcoming these courageous, dedicated Women for Women International Country Directors who work tirelessly to amplify the voices of women survivors of war and raise awareness about the challenges they face. Hear first-hand stories of survival and hope from: Sweeta Noori - Afghanistan, Seida Saric - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christine Karumba - Democratic Republic of the Congo, Hamide Latifi - Kosovo, Ngozi Eze - Nigeria, Berra Kabarungi ˆ Rwanda, Karak Mayik ˆ Sudan

The National Museum of Women in the Arts is the only museum dedicated solely to celebrating the achievements of women in the visual, performing and literary arts. Women for Women International supports women in war-torn regions with financial and emotional aid, job-skills training, rights education, and small business assistance so they can rebuild their lives.
