Official Unveiling Today of Art Walk, the City's Vibrant Outdoor Exhibition Mayor Anthony A. Williams and members of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and the Washington Convention Center, were on hand for the official unveiling of Art Walk, a large-scale outdoor exhibition of 12 works by local artists, on the site of the Old Convention Center (10th Street between New York Avenue and H Street, NW). WHAT: The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, in cooperation with the Washington Convention Center, has completed installation of Art Walk, a large-scale outdoor exhibition of 12 works by local artists, on the site of the old convention center (10th Street between New York Avenue and H Street, NW). Tied together by the common theme of Metamorphosis (a complete or marked change in appearance, character or condition) each thought-provoking artwork is illustrative of the changing nature of this center.
