Friday, June 5th, 6-8pm
Coup d'Espace installment III
WPA member artist Anita Walsh presents, Unwrap

In this next 'coup', Anita Walsh transforms WPA's office space into a mobile studio where she will capture input from visitors based on their reactions to different colors. Visitors' thoughts will be captured and typed on sheets of paper made by the artist from old crayon wrappers.

"This project began as an investigation of drawing-and wrappers. After two years of working on detailed drawings in pencil, I wanted to radically alter my process. Rather than draw with pencil on machine made sheets of paper, I pull sheets of paper by hand and then use crayon wrappers and pieces of boxes to create images." - Anita Walsh
