Thoughts on the Spring

The Jerusalem Fund Gallery presents

Thoughts on the Spring
new work by Helen Zughaib
March 9—April 13, 2012
Opening reception
Friday, March 9,  6:00-8:00 p.m.

Acclaimed Washington DC artist Helen Zughaib presents new work in new media in her first solo exhibition at The Jerusalem Fund Gallery since her sold out exhibition, Stories My Father Told Me. Expanding upon her signature technique in gouache on paper, her recent experiences in Palestine, as well as her successful exhibition at the renowned Agial Gallery in Beirut, Helen reflects upon the Arab Spring in paintings and collages that are seriously thought-provoking as well as stirringly beautiful. Zughaib’s work has been collected by the White House, State Dept. and Library of Congress, as well as museums, embassies and individuals worldwide.
