Presented by Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts, this workshop will cover the basic legalities of copyrights, trademarks and contracts for visual artists. John D. Mason is a Washington DC / Maryland based art and entertainment and intellectual property attorney. His practice focuses on copyright and trademark matters, litigation, contracts and commercial matters. He works with writers, artists and creative people and companies to protect and exploit their work and is also a literary agent.
