Curated by J.W Mahoney, the Catalyst anniversary exhibition will highlight 35 years of WPA's history. The retrospective will demonstrate the continuing uniqueness, resilience, and catalytic power of WPA, one of the nation's first alternative arts organization.

As Washington's premier alternative arts organization for over three decades, Washington Project for the Arts (WPA) has supported tens of thousands of regional artists and presented exhibitions to hundreds of thousands of visitors. CATALYST will be a dynamic, narrative recollection of WPA's legacy, showcasing selected artists, exhibitions, programs, and events from its 35-year history. The exhibition, curated by J. W. Mahoney, will include recent and period artworks, documentation in both still and moving media, a series of related performances and public programs, and a fully-illustrated catalogue. READ MORE>>
